Labor Day Jamboree is Moving!

One of the greatest Barbershop experiences of the year has been moved to the Southern hospitality charm of Plantation Inn Resort in Crystal River, Florida! There are an incredible amount of things to do and see at this beautiful resort on the famous Crystal River only minutes by boat from the Gulf of Mexico!

To book a room or suite, you may contact the Plantation Inn reservations department at 1-800-632-6262. When calling, be sure to mention that you are attending the Sunshine District Labor Day Jamboree event. The guest room rate is $100/night and up. Upgraded rooms, suites, villas, and condos are based on availability and at an additional rate. All rooms and suites will be charged 9% tax.

If you would like to make it a longer family vacation, feel free to come early and stay later! The Plantation Inn Golf Resort & Spa has agreed to offer these great room rates if you decide to do so. If it’s the ocean you want to see, Florida’s West Coast is within a half-hour or so from the resort.

It’s only been a few days since the close of LDJ 2008 and I can hardly wait for next year! Check out the website and begin thinking about next year’s event. One thing that you do not want to miss out on is renting a pontoon boat and going out on the water to see the world famous manatees.
