To get a listing of all quartets in the database, leave all fields blank, set the “active”, “show bid” and category selectors to empty (click the last option in each drop down), click the “Search” button.

“Active” quartets are defined as quartets that have a current, active registration with the Barbershop Harmony Society.

Name searches are case insensitive and do not require complete words. For example, entering “tone” in the “Quartet Name” field would return “Suntones” as well as any other quartet with “tone” in any part of the quartet name.

Name searches in the “Singer Name” field will return quartets that match the entered name, or part of name, in the “Contact”, “Tenor”, “Lead”, “Baritone”, or “Bass” fields.

Zip code searches do not require a full zip code (5 characters). You can specify the first 2 or 3 numbers in the zip code to broaden the search area.

If your search request returns no quartets, or fewer listings than you expect:

• enter information in fewer fields, or fewer letters in the fields you enter.
• set the “active”, “show bids” and “category” selectors to the blank option (bottom of the drop down list), this will remove those parameters from the search process.

NOTE: If the category or zip code searches don’t work, consider clearing your browser cache as old versions of the code may have been cached.
